These cypress wood coasters are reclaimed from the structural beams of a house in rural Sorrento, Louisiana. Damaged by flooding, the house was slated for demolition, and this beautiful wood was headed for the landfill. Old growth cypress has beautiful grain and growth rings. These are sanded to a silky smooth finish and sealed on all sides, and the color is a lovely natural honey. I produce these in batches, and have a virtually unlimited capacity - if orders come in between batches, delivery may be extended slightly, but is still guaranteed.
